Whether on the right or left bank, the banks of the Seine are a treasure trove, and for this reason have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. As you stroll along - on foot, by boat or by bike - you'll discover Paris's most beautiful monuments, often from their best angle. From the Louvre Museum to the Eiffel Tower, from Place de la Concorde to the Grand and Petit Palais, from Notre-Dame Cathedral to the Sainte-Chapelle, the list goes on. All year round, you'll also find hundreds of Bouquinistes (second-hand booksellers) on both banks, sports facilities (on the Berges de Seine) and breathtaking views over the city. In summer, it's time for the sand, deckchairs and festivities of Paris Plages!
