To reduce its environmental footprint as quickly as possible, Air France has undertaken to cut its CO2 emissions by 30% per passenger-kilometre by 2030 compared with 2019. By renewing its fleet with latest-generation aircraft that consume up to 25% less fuel, by investing in sustainable aviation fuels that reduce CO2 emissions by 75% on average over the fuel's life cycle, by using eco-piloting on all its flights, by introducing more responsible catering and by developing intermodality with the train on routes in France and Europe that allow it, Air France is taking action to limit the impact of its activity on the environment.
