monbendo.fr is a search engine designed to highlight independent businesses and local artisans. Our platform makes it easy for local residents to find passionate boutiques, workshops and creators offering unique products, services and courses - far from the big names and standardized consumerism.
Each listed business has its own dedicated page telling its story, presenting its ambience and detailing its offering. An interactive map enables users to spot locations at a glance and discover local nuggets they might never have come across otherwise. Events organized by or around partner workshops can also be published and shared to liven up neighborhood life.
Our approach is clearly different from traditional e-commerce: we don't sell anything online, we create links. Our aim is to encourage face-to-face encounters between residents and shopkeepers, so that every purchase is also a human experience. We believe in slow-commerce, i.e. in more conscious, more local, more meaningful consumption.
Registration is entirely free for all independent businesses. Crafts, creations, services, courses and workshops are all welcome, whatever the sector, except food.
