Rue d'Aligre et place d'Aligre - 75012 Paris
Bastille, Gare de Lyon - Bercy
Between the Place de la Bastille and the Place de la Nation, the Beauvau market, also known as the Marché d'Aligre (after the square where it is located), is held 6 days a week. Very popular with Parisians, the market is divided into two parts. The covered market, housed in beautiful covered market halls much appreciated by architecture lovers, is dedicated to food stalls featuring brands such as the Langlet-Hardouin cheese shop, the Boucherie Végétarienne and the oils and spices from the Sur les Quais boutique. The open-air market takes place in the square and even extends into the rue d'Aligre. There's a food section and plenty of second-hand goods (household accessories, fabrics, old books, etc.). Free admission. Covered market: Tuesday-Friday, 9am-1pm and 4pm-7.30pm; Saturday, 9am-1pm and 3.30pm-7.30pm; Sunday, 9am-1.30pm. Open market: Tuesday-Friday, 7.30am-1.30pm; Saturday-Sunday, 7.30am-2.30pm.
