Maison Deyrolle

Located between the Musée d'Orsay and the Musée Maillol, in the very chic 7th arrondissement, Maison Deyrolle is much more than just a shop ... it is a real cabinet of curiosities. Founded in 1831, Deyrolle is a world reference for its expertise as a taxidermist and entomologist. A visit to see the exceptional items on display on the 1st floor of the shop at 46 rue du Bac is an amazing experience. Discover colourful butterflies displayed in boxes, mammals (bears, lions, zebras...) and bird species (swans, ostriches ...) as real as life. Maison Deyrolle is a valuable resource for both scientists and artists and collaborates with many fashion designers, collectors, decorators, photographers and filmmakers.
