A Saturday at Drouot: The auction mecca opens its doors to the general public for free!

From September 19 to December 12, 2026 (except October 17 and 31), the Hôtel Drouot is transforming its weekends. Every Saturday, come enjoy free behind-the-scenes guided tours, chat with experts, and step into the shoes of an auctioneer during mock auctions with the “If I Had a Hammer” workshop. Also on the program: themed Saturdays dedicated to fashion, contemporary art, comics, and jewelry.

Since 1852, Hôtel Drouot has been a unique venue where some 70 auction houses hold their sales. More than 230,000 works of art and collectibles are auctioned, accessible to all. You'll find vintage furniture, fashion accessories, jewelry, fine wines, objets d'art and other unusual finds! Each auction is preceded by a public exhibition, where everyone can see and touch the objects, and talk to the auctioneers. Access to Hôtel Drouot is free, and everyone is welcome to discover, be inspired and bid.
Events at Hôtel Drouot throughout the year include preview exhibitions, guided tours, the District 13 urban art fair, screenings and round-table discussions...

11 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday to Friday (nocturne until 8 p.m. on Thursday). Open some Saturdays.
