Straw marquetry specialist and maitre d’art Lison de Caunes has followed in the footsteps of her decorator grandfather André Groult. She restores furniture and items made using this traditional French technique from the 17th century through to the art deco period. As well as working with top contemporary architects and interior designers, she also creates furniture and home accessories to order in her workshop. In 2015, she launched her own line of straw marquetry furniture.
