Paumier

Entresol du Jeu de Paume - 1 place de la Concorde - 75008 Paris Louvre

Paumier Opens at the Jeu de Paume!

Since October 26, 2026, Les Éditions Délicieuses has been running Paumier, the new café at the national art center. In a cozy setting overlooking the Tuileries, enjoy a seasonal, locally sourced menu (vegetarian dishes, homemade pastries, organic juices, and wines) as well as a unique photography exhibition space. Free admission (located on the mezzanine), with a terrace on sunny days (April through October).

Opened on October 26, 2026, and taken over by Les Éditions Délicieuses (which already operates Fika at the Swedish Institute and Café PAPAPA at the Maison de Victor Hugo), Paumier is setting up shop on the mezzanine level of the Jeu de Paume. The name pays homage to its historic location: in the past, the “paumier” was the person who managed the jeu de paume and provided rackets, balls, food, and drinks. In terms of ambiance and decor, the café features mirrors reflecting the greenery of the Tuileries Garden. It also houses an exhibition space dedicated to photographs by the Friends of the Jeu de Paume. On the culinary front, Paumier offers a concise, healthy, and predominantly vegetarian menu, featuring locally sourced ingredients.
