Le Comptoir des Canettes (also known as ‘Chez Georges’ has for this reason become a veritable institution in the district. Opened in 1952, this little bar has always been frequented by a mixed crowd in a rustic and relaxed setting where everyone is at ease. The lower ground floor has a fireplace to heat the room on winter evenings. Prices begin at two euros for a pint of beer. What could be better?
