Café Chéri(e) is one of the best bars in Belleville. The clientele is diverse and the atmosphere laid-back and mainstream. It stands out thanks to its red neon decor, and was the first bar in Paris to offer Wi-Fi access. Its large terrace on the pavement is one of the venue’s major assets but getting a seat there can be quite expensive! One of the highlights of the day is happy hour, which takes place between 5pm and 8pm. At the end of the week (from Thursday to Friday) the bar offers edgy DJ sets to the delight of party animals. The 1st floor hosts artist exhibition-residencies.
