Station F is the world’s largest startup campus, set up in 2017 by French telecoms magnate Xavier Niel to provide training and other services to startups focusing on digital technology. It is housed in a converted 1920s railway depot a street away from the Bibliothèque nationale de France–Site François Mitterrand. The impressive Halle Freyssinet extends over 34,000m2, with a paved area running the length of one side. The complex also houses La Felicità, a vast restaurant and entertainment facility of 4,500m² with eight kitchens, three bars and a covered market. It’s open to the public, who come here to enjoy good homemade Italian cooking, a cocktail, or a DJ set.
