The economic and geopolitical context is weighing on tourism activity at the end of the year. The consequences of inflation, rising interest rates and the decline in growth prospects, particularly in the eurozone (+0.7pts vs 2022 according to the ECB) are affecting domestic tourist numbers.
There has also been a downturn in the outlook for international air arrivals in December.
We estimate that tourism in Greater Paris in the final quarter could be comparable to that of 2022. This would amount to 37 million for the year as a whole (**+7.2% ** vs. 2022 and -3.5% vs. 2019).
