After the memorable 2019 finals, which drew 19,000 spectators to the Accor Arena, Paris has once again been chosen by Riot Games to host the quarter-finals and semi-finals of the famous tournament, after a five-year absence in Europe. Holding this competition in Paris is an incredible opportunity for eSport fans and clubs to come and share their passion with Parisians.
The holding of these quarter-finals and semi-finals is the fruit of the collaborative work carried out by the Taskforce for the hosting of major eSport events, an initiative of the City of Paris and Paris je t'aime - Office de tourisme.
The new Adidas Arena where the competition will be held, located in the Porte de la Chapelle district will be inaugurated in February 2024, maintaining the excitement after the Olympic Games.
Get ready to experience an incredible atmosphere as the world's best players battle it out!
eSport is a sector that continues to grow and break records. On a global scale, it could represent 1.75 billion euros ($1.86 billion) and reach 640.8 million spectators by 2025. France is one of Europe's leading players in the video game market (22 million euros in 2018).
