Zeus at Arts et Métiers: monumental installation and original exhibition

Musée des Arts et Métiers, 60 rue Réaumur - 75003 Paris
From 17 December 2025 to 10 January 2027

Zeus at MuAM: free installation of the horse on the forecourt until 2027 and paying exhibition "Chef-d'œuvre d'artisans" until March 29, 2026

The monumental installation Zeus, the metal horse, is one of the symbols of the legacy of the Paris 2024 Games. Having marked the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics by crossing the Seine, this work -constructed from recycled materials- is back in the capital after a national tour. Created by Atelier blam, this project celebrates the encounter between art, science and engineering, highlighting the excellence of French know-how (boilermakers, digital sculptors, engineers). The Musée des Arts et Métiers in Paris is dedicating a double presence to Zeus. Two ways of discovering Zeus: the 1.80 m-high mechanical horse can be seen free of charge on the museum's forecourt for over a year; the "Zeus, masterpiece of craftsmen" exhibition is devoted to its conception in the choir of the Saint-Martin-des-Champs church, exploring the trades, sketches and mechanisms that led to its creation.
Zeus installation on the forecourt: December 17, 2025 to January 10, 2027. Exhibition in the church of Saint-Martin-des-Champs: from December 17, 2025 to March 29, 2026.
Free installation. Indoor exhibition: access included in museum ticket.
