VendrediX is a series of inclusive LGBTQIA+ events in Paris, offering festive and artistic evenings in a variety of the city's most emblematic venues
VendrediX (FridayX) organises LGBTQIA+ events open to all, offering festive and artistic evenings in emblematic Parisian venues. Among these events, VendrediXXL takes to the Bellevilloise once a month for a themed evening that resembles a queer festival in two parts (concert, cabaret, afterwork... from 7pm to 10pm and clubbing, from 10pm to 6am) with performances by over 20 multi-disciplinary artists, including painters, video artists, musicians and dancers, promoting artistic diversity and creating a meeting place for emerging and established artists. Then there are the DI.X underground techno nights at the FVTVR club from 11pm until the wee hours of the morning, which have established themselves as the benchmark nights on the Parisian and European queer techno scene, featuring the best Parisian DJs. When the weather's fine, VendrediX-sur-Seine at Silicet - a friendly bar on the quays of the Seine - hosts an evening from 7pm to 10pm every Friday from May onwards, where people come to have a drink, relax, chat, flirt, laugh, dance and kiss... in the open air!
