The Schubertiade de Sceaux is the latest in a series of musical events celebrating chamber music
From 12 October to 5 April 2025, the town of Sceaux will be hosting the 6th edition of the Schubertiade de Sceaux. Launched in 2018 by Elisabeth Atanassov and Pierre-Kaloyann Atanassov, this musical event offers the chance to discover chamber music once a month through a series of concerts by established artists and young talents. On the programme for this new edition: 12 October, 5.30pm: Audrey Lonca-Alberto and Paolo Rigutto, piano four-hands (works by Schubert, Liszt, Satie, Tailleferre and Gershwin). 16 November, at 5.30pm at Le Trianon cinema: concert and cinema around César Franck and Luchino Visconti. With Laure Brunou, piano (works by Mendelssohn and Debussy) and the screening of ‘Sandra’ by Luchino Visconti (film for ages 14 and up). 14 December, at 5.30pm: Jérôme Hantaï, fortepiano, Marc Hantaï, flute and Alix Verzier, cello (works by Johann Christian Bach, Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven). 11 January, at 5:30pm: Élise Bertrand, violin and Gaspard Thomas, piano (works by Bach, Beethoven, Enesco and Bartók). 8 February, at 5.30pm: Contraste duo (works by Bizet, Chausson, Fauré and Ravel). 15 March, at 10.30 am and 2.30 pm: musical show Bout'Schub, devised by Philippe Launay and Émilie Launay-Bobillot, for ages 3 and up. At 5.30pm: Kleio Quartet, string quartet (works by Bach, Mozart and Bartók). 5 April, at 5.30pm: Emmanuelle Bertrand, cello and Pascal Amoyel, piano (works by Schubert, Brahms, Liszt and Popper).
