Meet at Place de la Bastille for the 3rd edition of this festive and musical event
The Bal de l'Amour, which celebrated 10 years of marriage for all in 2023, will take over the Place de la Bastille on 16 May 2025 for its third edition. Open to all and free of charge, the event organised by the City of Paris promises to be musical, dance-filled, joyful and festive. Numerous festivities await you from 6pm onwards, including DJ sets, giant karaoke, cabaret shows, voguing and pole dancing performances. The programme for the 2025 Bal de l'Amour, whose message is ‘Love always triumphs’, includes Frederic Djaaleb (DJ set at 6pm), Noam Sinseau (opening of the ball at 7pm), Lady Ricart (karaoke at 7.05pm and 7.50pm), Ygal Ohayon (DJ set at 7.20pm and 8.35pm), Jaj and Bili Bellegarde and Lady Ricart (drag show at 8.05pm), La Grande Dame (show at 8.25pm), Collectif Highlights (dance performance at 9.15pm), Ysa Ferrer (singing performance at 9.20pm), Nelson d'Araujo (DJ set at 9.25pm), Compagnie Gamart ‘Androgyne’ (dance performance at 10.30pm) and Dyke Menopause (DJ set at 10.35pm)... The event echoes and takes place on the eve of the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia. The next day - 17 May 2025 - still on Place de la Bastille, it's time for the Eurovision fan zone from 5pm to 1am. DJs Heiva, Julien de Bomerani and Rawdolff will be providing the entertainment. The Eurovision final, in which France will be represented by singer Louane, will be broadcast on a giant outdoor screen. Free admission.
