Portes ouvertes d’Anvers aux Abbesses

Artists from the 9th and 18th arrondissements open the doors of their studios to the public

Over the course of a week-end, the famous district that is Montmartre invites the public to discover the multitude of artist’s studios that dot its streets, stretching from Anvers to Abbesses. Art lovers can discover the work of 100 artists in no less than fifty sites: studios, apartments, restaurants, etc. The sites are indicated via an arts trail. From the cobbled stone streets of the district known as Nouvelle Athènes (New Athens) to little-known parts of La Goutte d’or, painting, sculpture, drawing, engraving, ceramics and photography can be enjoyed in a festive, convivial atmosphere. The perfect way to explore this legendary artist’s haven.
