From 27 November to 27 December 2026, the Opéra Bastille presents "Turandot", the last operatic masterpiece by Italian composer Giacomo Puccini. American visual artist Robert Wilson, who brought his vision of Madame Butterfly to the Opéra de Paris, this time transcends Turandot, the beautiful and cruel imaginary princess of medieval China. A plunge into Chinese Orientalism with this subtle show of tableaux inspired by Noh theater, playing on the burlesque and humor of the three ministers Ping, Pang and Pong. Opera in Italian, surtitled in French and English.
