From 23 March to 13 April 2027, the Opéra Bastille presents the opera buffa "L’Elisir d’amore" by Italian composer Gaetano Donizetti. This comic-sentimental opera, with its fine, subtle musical writing, is today a jewel in the operatic repertoire. Laurent Pelly's staging sets the plot in Italy in the 1960s.
