The Nyokobop Festival, organised by Le Hasard Ludique, focuses on contemporary music from under-represented regions. Since its inception, Nyokobop has programmed more than 80 artists of various nationalities, offering a glimpse of the great musical diversity that is revolutionising the international soundscape. The performances take place in several iconic venues in Paris, such as Le Hasard Ludique, la Bellevilloise, le Cabaret Sauvage and La Station - Gare des Mines. Each edition offers a series of concerts and club nights, highlighting a variety of genres such as mando-trap, kwaito-house, gqom, electro sabar, amapiano, min'yō electro, zague, nu-dabke, neo perreo, singeli, gommance, dancehall and gengetone. The festival is renowned for its eclectic programme and its commitment to showcasing artists from emerging music scenes.
