The Nyokobop Festival, organized by Le Hasard Ludique, focuses on contemporary music from underrepresented regions. Since its inception, Nyokobop has featured more than 80 artists of various nationalities, offering a glimpse into the vast musical diversity that is revolutionizing the international soundscape. Performances take place at several iconic venues in Paris, such as Le Hasard Ludique, La Bellevilloise, La Machine du Moulin Rouge, Le Trabendo, and Le Petit Bain. Each edition features a series of concerts and club nights, highlighting a variety of genres such as mando-trap, kwaito-house, gqom, electro sabar, amapiano, electro min’yō, zague, nu-dabke, neo perreo, singeli, gommance, dancehall, and gengetone. The festival is known for its eclectic lineup and its commitment to showcasing artists from emerging music scenes.
