A fun and friendly sports day centered on open-water swimming, featuring four race distances, an aquathlon, and free activities
On Sunday, September 6, 2026, Nage ta Seine returns to L’Île-Saint-Denis for its third edition. Organized by the Seine-Saint-Denis FSGT Committee, the event invites the public to discover open-water swimming in an urban setting, with several races available for participants of all skill levels.
On the program: four swimming distances, ranging from 250 to 3,000 meters, as well as an aquathlon combining a 500-meter swim and a 6.5-kilometer run. The Big Jump, featuring a free buoy race at 11:30 a.m., will be one of the highlights of the morning.
A village featuring free sports and cultural activities will also accompany the event. Nage ta Seine aims to enable residents of Seine-Saint-Denis to embrace urban natural spaces and enjoy a fun, friendly sporting event along the riverbank.
