The best of world athletics in the prestigious setting of the Stade Charlety
An athletics competition bringing together the best French and international athletes at the Charlety Stadium. Due to the current heatwave in Paris and across France, the organisers are adjusting the programme: only competitions reserved for professional athletes will go ahead. Conversely, all events aimed at clubs and registered members, as well as regional competitions, have been cancelled. Special measures have been put in place to minimise the effects of the extreme heat, including: postponing the opening of the gates to the public until 4.15 pm; adjustments to the sporting programme; the reinforcement of medical and emergency services; the provision of water points, misting systems and shaded areas; and the implementation of additional preventive measures and public information campaigns.
