Les Femmes s'en Mêlent (LFSM) is a festival dedicated to the promotion of female artists in contemporary music since 1997.
Since its creation on 8 March 1997 in Paris, LFSM has been working to increase the visibility of female artists in contemporary music. The festival offers an eclectic programme combining rock, electro, folk, hip-hop and much more, highlighting emerging and established talents from the international women's scene. Over the years, Les Femmes s'en mêlent has welcomed renowned artists such as Christine & The Queens, Cat Power, Jeanne Added, Emilie Simon, Soko, Yelle, Regina Spektor, Nouvelle Vague, Daphné, La Grande Sophie, Corine, Austra, Courtney Barnett and Irène Drésel. The festival takes place in several French and international cities, offering concerts, workshops, conferences and meetings to promote gender equality and the visibility of LGBTQIA+ artists in contemporary music. The British artist Nabihah Iqbal has already been announced for 22 November 2025 at the Gaîté Lyrique.
