La Parisienne, an all-women's 7 km run, takes place in the heart of Paris
La Parisienne is an all-women's running event. Created by Patrick Aknin in 1997, the first edition brought together 1,500 women in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne. On the program: women's running village on the Champ-de-Mars (free admission open to all), giant screen, wellness area, brand pop-up store, festive run, concerts, catering and a start for walkers at 11:30 am. There will also be a daycare area for children aged 4 to 12 - registration subject to availability. Some 40,000 female joggers turn up early in the morning to cover the 7-kilometre course in the heart of the capital. The race starts on the Pont d'Iéna and runs to the Champs de Mars. And because running can also be fun, La Parisienne invites you to take up a number of challenges (which can be combined in pairs): mother-daughter, girlfriend, company or masquerade costume competition, it's up to you to decide how you want to run. La Parisienne will feature 20 starting waves. But beyond sport, La Parisienne has also become a race that supports research into breast cancer, a disease that affects 1 in 8 women in their lifetime. By taking part in this race, you're doing a good deed and helping to highlight the fight of scientists and women against cancer.
