The Course des Cafés 2025 returns with a vengeance on Sunday, September 21, to the forecourt of the Hôtel de Ville in Paris. Closing the Paris en Seine program and celebrating the European Heritage Days, this festive event pays tribute to the restoration trades, listed as an intangible cultural heritage. For the first time, the historic event opens its doors to the general public, with 150 places available. Three starts punctuate this unique morning: participants, dressed in traditional garb, must cross the Marais over 4 kilometers carrying a tray loaded with a coffee, a croissant and a glass of water... without spilling. A joyful and symbolic challenge, highlighting the balance, stamina and vitality of an iconic profession in the capital.
