Take part in the Course des Cafés: a frantic walk with tray, coffee, croissant and glass of water through the Marais, open to the general public!
The Course des Cafés returns to the plaza in front of City Hall in Paris. This festive event pays tribute to the culinary trades, which are listed on the inventory of intangible cultural heritage. For the first time, this historic event is open to the general public, with 150 spots available. Three starts mark this unique morning: participants, dressed in traditional attire, must cross the Marais district over a 4-kilometer course while carrying a tray loaded with a cup of coffee, a croissant, and a glass of water… without spilling a drop. A joyful and symbolic challenge, highlighting the balance, endurance, and vitality of one of the capital’s most iconic professions.
