Arts and craft days in Belleville

Events and open days to discover the workshops of the artisans of Belleville

For its 11th edition, the Belleville Craft Days invites the public to celebrate the arts and crafts and local creativity. On the program: open houses where visitors can meet 70 artisans—male and female—spread across 50 venues and workshops throughout the neighborhood—ranging from ceramicists to fashion designers, as well as glassblowers, cabinetmakers, jewelers, gilders, and bookbinders. The event also marks the opening of the Manufacture de Belleville and the renovation of the Halle Grésillon, which now houses the Atelier Stokowski, dedicated to blown glass. Visitors can watch demonstrations of traditional craftsmanship (including a wild basketry trail in Belleville Park), visit the “Sublime Objet” and “Lumières de Belleville” exhibitions, attend screenings as part of the CinéBelleville festival, and participate in a roundtable discussion on craftsmanship in working-class neighborhoods.
