Private theatre opens its doors to jazz: a programme featuring global headliners and residencies dedicated to young European talent
Since 2021, the Athénée Théâtre Louis-Jouvet has been vibrating to the rhythm of jazz. This season, the Jazz à l'Athénée cycle is enriched with the Ascension programme, in collaboration with the Komos label. This unique programme transforms the Christian-Bérard hall into a creative laboratory: four groups from the young European scene benefit from a rehearsal residency before performing on three consecutive evenings. At the same time, the Grande Salle continues to welcome major figures from the international scene. From the acoustic intimacy of a folk-jazz trio to the inspired performances of world-class soloists, Jazz à l'Athénée offers a rare experience where proximity to the artists enhances the listening experience. An unmissable event to discover the big names of tomorrow and the masters of today in one of the most beautiful Italian-style theatres in Paris, located a stone's throw from the Palais Garnier.
