Cité de l'Histoire: three major immersive shows

A unique journey through time at the foot of the Grande Arche: three monumental 360° films, a guided tour with actors and educational workshops.

Under the Grande Arche, the Cité de l'Histoire offers a spectacular immersion in the great moments of humanity. Right now, the flagship experience is dedicated to Christopher Columbus: follow the 15th-century explorer to the New World thanks to a monumental projection preceded by a pre-show with actors. The journey continues with two other permanent 360° experiences: Caesar, to relive ancient Rome, and D-Day, a poignant immersion in the heart of the D-Day landings. Enrich your visit with "La Clef des Siècles", an immersive 17-room tour retracing the history of France, with spectacular sets and costumed actors. A giant interactive frieze, an exhibition on the Great Explorers and themed workshops (knots, Little Legionnaires) complete this 3-hour adventure. The History Bistro, boutique and bookshop extend the experience. You can also extend your adventure at the same location with the virtual reality experience Éternelle Notre-Dame, a breathtaking journey through 850 years of the cathedral's history.
