On Saturday, September 12, 2026, the Paris-Vincennes Racetrack will open its doors wide for La Fête du Cheval, a major, free, and immersive festival dedicated to exploring the world of horses. On the agenda for this family-friendly sporting event: nine exceptional trotting races starting at 1pm, including the Critériums for 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds (finals of the French Sulky Championships), complemented by a parade of the Republican Guard on the track, a close-up encounter with the animals to discover numerous breeds - from the 50-cm-tall miniature horse to the majestic Shire, not to mention Shetland ponies, Friesians, and Purebred Spanish Horses - pony rides, a wooden carousel, the École des Licornes by Gulli, a follow-along bus, guided tours of the stables, a virtual reality experience, an interactive Derby game, two-seater sulky rides, and educational activities on the welfare and retraining of trotters, a food truck village, dessert stands, bars, and a panoramic restaurant overlooking the tracks.
