Discover the world of bees-from the hive to beekeeping and the uses of honey
Georges-Valbon Park (La Courneuve) is celebrating honey and biodiversity with a fun-filled day dedicated to discovery. People of all ages are invited to learn more about the essential role of bees and the work of beekeepers through a series of fun and educational activities.
Throughout the day, visitors can attend talks on honey production, participate in workshops on making natural cosmetics, taste different varieties of honey, or explore pollinating insects. The most curious visitors will also have the opportunity to watch beehives being opened, subject to safety and weather conditions. Organized in partnership with the Société Centrale d’Apiculture, this event is also a chance to purchase honey produced right here in the park.
