Paris, a cinematic joy
For over 30 years, the Fête du Cinéma has been a fixture on the cinema scene. Every year at the start of summer, this operation organized by the Fédération Nationale des Cinémas Français (French National Federation of Cinemas) enables more than 3 million cinema-goers to enjoy screenings at a unique, low price. In Paris, legendary cinemas such as the Grand Rex, the Max Linder and the Louxor are just some of the many taking part once again this year. The fête du Cinéma in Paris is also an opportunity to discover films that usually receive less publicity. Some films take advantage of the fête du cinéma to make their mark against Hollywood blockbusters.
