Regards Satellites 2027

The successor to the Journées Cinématographiques film festival, Regards Satellites celebrates auteur cinema and unique voices in Saint-Denis

For this new edition, the Regards Satellites festival continues to explore the fringes of the seventh art and highlight rare and socially conscious cinema. Held at the Cinéma L'Écran in Saint-Denis and several partner venues in Greater Paris, the event offers a bold selection of international feature films, documentaries and heritage films. The programme includes a competition for first and second films, prestigious previews and tributes to major figures in cinema. More than just a series of screenings, the festival is a real forum for debate with numerous meetings, masterclasses and film concerts. It is an opportunity to discover works that highlight social realities and territories often neglected by commercial circuits, all in the setting of the large auditorium of the Cinéma L'Écran, renamed in tribute to Sarah Maldoror.
