Concerts and lectures in tribute to composer and pianist Frédéric Chopin
Held in the Orangerie du Parc de Bagatelle, the Chopin Festival finds a fitting setting in this bucolic setting to pay tribute to the Polish composer through a series of concerts and conferences featuring the greatest specialists in the work of the Romantic pianist. The "piano à portes ouvertes" days in particular enable young pianists, winners of the most prestigious international competitions, to perform the master's music to the delight of visitors. The festival is also an opportunity to discover original pieces by contemporary composers inspired by Chopin. Each year, the theme of the festival allows pianists to broaden the master's repertoire by relating it to his predecessors and successors.
