Discover the major retrospective at the Louvre dedicated to Francisco de Zurbarán, a leading figure in 17th-century Spanish painting

From 7 October to 25 January 2027, the Louvre is hosting a major retrospective of Francisco de Zurbarán, one of the leading Spanish painters of the 17th century. Organized in collaboration with the National Gallery in London and the Art Institute of Chicago, the exhibition traces the artist’s long career, highlighting his bold style through a selection of his finest works - from the monumental paintings commissioned by monasteries in Andalusia that made him famous to his portraits and still lifes. It also explores the work of his son, Juan de Zurbarán (1620–1649), and Francisco de Zurbarán’s influence on avant-garde painters in France, such as Édouard Manet and Pablo Picasso.
From 9am to 6pm. From 9am to 9pm on Wednesday and Friday. Closed on Tuesday.
From €22 to €32.
