Musée d'Orsay, Esplanade Valéry Giscard d'Estaing - 75007 Paris
From 19 May to 13 September 2026
A cross between Youssef Nabil's creations and the collections of the Musée d'Orsay, which have inspired the artist for over thirty years!
The exhibition ‘Youssef Nabil. To dream again’ at the Musée d'Orsay from 19 May 2026 reveals the close relationship between photographer and videographer Youssef Nabil and the museum. Inspired for over thirty years by the works housed there, the artist depicts his youth and his connection to his country of birth, Egypt, in his works. Using black-and-white silver prints, hand-coloured using an ancient technique, he immerses the audience in a dreamlike aesthetic imbued with sensuality, far from the shores of the Mediterranean.
From 9:30am to 6pm. From 9:30am to 9:45pm on Thursday. Closed on Monday.
