Super Japon (Awesome Japan)

Culture, cuisine, beauty, fashion… an immersive Japanese experience at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche!

From 29 August to 18 October 2026, Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche will be transformed into a giant konbini for the “Super Japan” (Awesome Japan) exhibition. This one-of-a-kind event brings together more than 1,000 items celebrating Japanese culture through food, beauty, kawaii stationery, and fashion. An auction organized by Penelope’s Auction, dedicated to “Japanese Fashion,” features vintage pieces from the 1980s and 1990s by leading Japanese designers (Issey Miyake, Comme des Garçons, Yohji Yamamoto, Kansai Yamamoto, and Undercover). The selected outfits are on display in the department store ahead of the auction, which will take place from October 13 to 18, 2026.
