Landscape Art and Its Evolution, from the Late 19th Century to the Present

To mark the 100th anniversary of the death of the famous Impressionist painter Claude Monet, the Marmottan Monet Museum is hosting the exhibition “Stories of Landscapes: From Monet to Hockney (1893–2026).” Dedicated to the evolution of landscape painting from the late 19th century to the present day, it traces the history of this art form through some 100 works, placing Claude Monet’s paintings in context alongside those of 20th- and 21st-century artists. On view from 24 September to 31 January 2027.
From 10am to 6pm. From 10am to 9pm on Thursday. Closed on Monday.
