From 10 February to 15 October 2026
Through family archives and rare correspondence, the Shoah Memorial reveals the intimate life of Simone Veil and the shattered destiny of the Jacob siblings
From February 10 to October 15, 2026, the Shoah Memorial presents a new exhibition dedicated to the unbreakable bond between Simone Veil and her sisters, Madeleine and Denise. Designed by David Teboul, this immersive tour explores the history of the Jacob family, from the carefree years of Nice to the tragedy of deportation. Thanks to exceptional documents - diaries, letters and private photographs presented for the first time - the exhibition lifts the veil on the intimate circle of the stateswoman. It also pays tribute to her brother Jean, a photographer whose photographs are highlighted here, and brings to life the voices of the three sisters through readings by actors such as Isabelle Huppert.
From 10am to 6pm. 10am to 9pm. Thursday. Closed Saturday, May 22 and July 14, 2026.
