An exhibition dedicated to Rosa Bonheur’s passion for horses, on view at the Château de Chantilly
From 12 September to 3 January 2027, the Château de Chantilly is presenting “Rosa Bonheur and the horse,” an exhibition dedicated to the passion of animal painter Rosa Bonheur for horses, the primary subjects of her paintings. Drawings, paintings, photographs, and archival materials, on display at both the Musée Condé and the Musée Vivant du Cheval, highlight the artist’s talent for capturing the grace and power of this animal.
