An exhibition at the Musée de la Libération de Paris - Musée du Général Leclerc - Musée Jean Moulin retraces the career of Robert Capa, the great war photographer famous for his photographs of the Normandy landings during the Second World War. A Hungarian immigrant living in Paris, Robert Capa became a legendary war photographer, capturing historic moments and publishing them in the press of the time. The exhibition highlights his work as a photojournalist, drawing on over 60 prints and 100 magazines, books, documents and personal objects. The exhibition runs from 18 February to 20 December 2026, organized with Magnum Photos as part of the Bicentenary of Photography.
