‘Moteur Imaginaire’ at the Large: Art and Machinery at Île Seguin

Inaugural Large exhibition brings masterpieces from the Renault Collection into dialogue with contemporary art

To mark its opening on the Pointe des Arts, the new art center Le Large, cultures contemporaines is staging an exhibition that revives the industrial memory of the Île Seguin. From October 17, 2026 to March 7, 2027, the inaugural "Moteur Imaginaire" exhibition, curated by international artist Cecilia Alemani, explores the complex relationship between man, factory and machine. The exhibition brings together 50 modern masterpieces from the Renault Fund for Art and Culture and works commissioned from contemporary artists. An artistic experience conceived as part of a rigorous eco-design approach, at the heart of a building designed by RCR Arquitectes.
