Exhibition-event on American film star Marilyn Monroe, marking the 100th anniversary of her birth
The Cinémathèque Française is honouring the icon of American cinema of the 1950s and 1960s, Marilyn Monroe, by dedicating an exhibition to her on the 100th anniversary of her birth. The exhibition traces the actress's meteoric rise in Hollywood from 1946 to 1962, from ‘Gentlemen Prefer Blondes’ to ‘The Seven Year Itch’. Visitors will also discover the star's wardrobe and portraits by artists, as well as the legends that accompanied Marilyn's short but impressive career, during which she became a sex symbol. Open from 8 April to 26 July 2026.
From 12pm to 7pm. From 11am to 8pm on Saturday, Sunday and during the holidays. Closed on Tuesday.
