The first major retrospective in France dedicated to the artist Leandro Erlich is taking over the Grand Palais with 14 monumental and immersive installations
From June 2 to September 6, 2026, the Grand Palais will present the first major retrospective in France of Leandro Erlich’s work. Famous for his monumental and immersive installations—such as the iconic Haussmann-style building facade “Bâtiment,” created for Nuit Blanche 2004— the Argentine artist plays with optical illusions and reimagines everyday architecture (elevators, booths, staircases) to challenge our certainties and our perception of reality. The exhibition brings together 14 immersive works, the “Proximamente” series of paintings, and the “Documentation Room” section (41 models and archives from 1994 to 2026).
