A Look at the Royal Wardrobe and Traditional Thai Costumes Designed by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit

To mark the 340th anniversary of the first diplomatic contact and the 170th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between France and Thailand, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs is presenting until 1 November 2026 the exhibition “La Mode en Majesté. Royal Thai Dress from Tradition to Modernity”. Around a hundred outfits and accessories from the royal collection - shimmering ikat silks, gold embroidery, and one-of-a-kind pieces designed by Pierre Balmain, the Balmain and Lesage fashion houses - reveal to the public the various traditional costumes worn at the Thai court and how they have evolved over time.
From 11am to 6pm. From 11am to 9pm Thursday. Closed on Monday.
€15. Free for those under 26.
