Ghanaian artist Ibrahim Mahama is presenting an exhibition of unprecedented scope at the Fondation Cartier for Contemporary Art
From 22 October to 28 February 2027, the Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art invites Ghanaian artist Ibrahim Mahama to fill its spaces with new works created specifically for the venue. Created in collaboration with nine artists (Dorothy Akpene Amenuke, Gideon Appah, James Barnor, Cercle d’Art des Travailleurs de Plantation Congolaise (CATPC), Courage Dzidula Kpodo, Zohra Opoku, Postbox Ghana, Tjaša Rener, Feda Wardak), the exhibition “Harvest Time” references the three art centers founded by the artist in Tamale, in northern Ghana, which are conceived as spaces for creation and education.
