Destruction of cultural and natural heritage : how can we build the future from ruins?

Through the exhibition ‘Heritage in Resistance. From Timbuktu to Odessa’, the Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine explores the issues surrounding heritage damaged by conflict. It highlights a current reality : how to repair and resist the destruction of cultural and natural heritage in times of war. Maps, texts, models, photographs, videos, contemporary works... offer a narrative divided into three parts: ‘Erasing’, ‘Resisting’ and ‘Restoring’, contributed by researchers, artists, field workers, architects and witnesses to this reality. On display from 20 May to 3 January 2027.
