Discover the vibrant photos by artist and photographer Hassan Hajjaj, accompanied by music from Acid Arab
Nicknamed the “Andy Warhol of Marrakech,” photographer Hassan Hajjaj is the subject of a groundbreaking exhibition at the Musée de la Musique, running from 22 September to 25 April 2027. In the style of African photographers Malick Sidibé and Seydou Keïta, he creates portraits of rock stars - such as Billie Eilish, Madonna, and Rachid Taha - as well as ordinary people, against colorful backdrops. Accompanied by the electronic music of the group Acid Arab, the artist’s vibrant, meticulously staged images combine fashion portraits, photography, and collages.
