Rediscovering Eugène Delacroix through his relationships
The exhibition ‘Delacroix: A Place, An Artist’ presents Eugène Delacroix in a new light thanks to works rarely seen by the public. It is a new presentation of the Eugène Delacroix Museum's collection, focusing on three questions concerning the artist, his friendships and professional relationships, his admirers, and his work in his studio. As visitors walk through the apartment, which has been transformed into a studio, the various works on display - archives, old posters, photographs - reveal a little-known side of the painter. Open until 6 September 2026.
From 12pm to 5.30pm. From 10am to 5.30pm on Saturday and Sunday. Closed on Monday.
