Frontière (Border)

The Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie explores the concept of borders and their impact on populations around the world

The Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie is presenting the exhibition ‘Frontière’ (Border) from 14 April 2026, which questions the place that borders occupy geographically, geopolitically and unconsciously. Thanks to the expertise of scientists, anthropologists, thinkers, artists and citizens, the exhibition immerses the public in a reflection on what borders really represent and their challenges in today's society, based on concrete examples such as sorting and control zones, resources or inequalities, sites of cooperation and exchange, or places of war or refuge.
